Man commits suicide, jumps from tower

A 30-year-old man jumped to his death from the 11th floor of the Garden Tower in Sanchaung Township in Yangon on January 6.
A 30-year-old man jumped to his death from the 11th floor of the Garden Tower in Sanchaung Township in Yangon on January 6.
Identified as Aung Kyaw Htoo from Ahlone Township, he died with a broken skull and bones at 7pm on Sunday evening.
“He left a suicide note. We have kept the note along with his personal belongings as evidence,” a person in authority said. But someone from the crime scene said people are claiming that the suicide seemed “abnormal” as they knew Aung Kyaw Htoo who worked as security guard at a nearby company.
The Sanchaung Police Department said the investigation is still ongoing. Police has yet to release any statement on the suicide note.
