Magwe FC to face Cambodian team in AFC Cup tomorrow

Angkor Football Club from Cambodia and the Magwe FC from Myanmar will play the third match of their group in the AFC Cup 2017 at Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh in Cambodia tomorrow.
The match is important for both teams as only the winner will have the chance to move ahead to the next round. After the second match of the group, Philippines FC Global had won 2 matches and scored 6 goals. Magwe FC scored once, and Cambodia scored none.

Myanmar down to Oman in friendly match before Suzuki Cup

In its final friendly match leading up to the Suzuki Cup 2016, Myanmar was beaten by Oman 3-0 at Thuwana stadium on Monday.

Myanmar had made two changes from the team which had earlier played the Indonesian national team.

Myanmar created but failed to capitalise on some goal opportunities in the first half. That left Oman to score its first goal nine minutes before interval and its second and third goals at the 54 and 68-minute marks.

Premier League champion Leicester City visits Shwedagon Pagoda

The Leicester City football club, the English Premier League champion for the 2015-16 football season, visited Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon yesterday.
