Myanmar National team coaches are busy analyzing MNL matches

Myanmar National team will train with about 30 players in the beginning of February to participate in the AFC Challenge Cup.

Myanmar team has been led by Mr. Park Seong-Hwa from Republic of Korea as the head coach and Tin Myint Aung as a coach. Members of Myanmar coaching staff are closely monitoring the MNL matches in this month.

“We are intending to train Myanmar team in coming February. We will choose between 25 players and 30 players. Now we went to MNL matches to watch player’s forms,” Tin Myint Aung said.

Myanmar team is part of the Group A along with India, Taiwan and Guam. Twenty teams will compete in the qualifying phases and will divide insto five groups.

Group winners and two best second placed teams will qualify for the finals. Seven teams will compete the final phase of AFC Challenge Cup with host Maldives. The defending champion The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea did not participate this year tournament.
