CNG substitution gas, electric power to be produced from garbage in Yangon
The CPN of CNG substitution and electric power will be produced from the garbage that are thrown away by the people living in Yangon late this year because land for garbage ground is no longer available, an official of Yangon City Development Committee said.

MPT configure mobile phone bills to prepaid monthly
Myanmar Posts and Telecommunication (MPT) is still making services from postpaid to prepaid system at the end of every month, according to sources from MPT.
Myanmar Posts and Telecommunication (MPT) is still making services from postpaid to prepaid system at the end of every month, according to sources from MPT.
“The mobile users who want to change to prepaid system can apply at MPT office or send the message. We are doing it at the end of every month,” an official from MPT said.
If the mobile users want to message about it, they can send “Yes” SMS to call center number 18812.
MPT is changing the prepaid system in midnight at the end of every month (eg. April 30).
1.5 million K GSM SIM cards have changed to prepaid system but there are some SIM cards which are still in postpaid system.
“Actually I prefers the postpaid system but my office gave us prepaid top-up cards every month. That’s why I want to change prepaid system,” an employee from company who has in hand of 1.5 million K SIM card.
