Myanmar authorities might release to public the information founded in the black box of the Air Bagan’s crashed plane, head of the probe commission Win Swe Tun said.
Myanmar authorities might release to public the information founded in the black box of the Air Bagan’s crashed plane, head of the probe commission Win Swe Tun said.
“We have submitted the findings to the (Transport) Ministry. We have also proposed (the authorities) to publicize the result,” he said.
Air Bagan’s Fokker F-100 crashed near Heho airport in Shan state on December 25. Of 65 passengers on board, two died and 11 other injured during the crash.
The black box or the flight data recorder was brought by the probe body to Australia for examination after Singapore refused to accept it saying there was too much damage to the black box. The probe group returned to Myanmar on January 26.
A day following the accident, Managing Director Htoo Thet Htwe of Air Bagan told the media that an investigation commission would be formed to examine the black box and the findings will be exposed only through the commission.
Critics are claiming their concerns on transparency of the possible press conference, raising question if it is censored.
