Myanmar and Kyrgyzstan drew 2-2 at Thuwana Stadium in their Asian Cup qualifier group stage on October 10.

Myanmar made few changes from the line-up that played a friendly against Thailand.

Kyrgyzstan scored the first goal from the penalty spot in the eighth minute and the second goal in the 48th minute after Myanmar missed a series of chances before the interval. Aung Thu scored three minutes later after which Myanmar substituted Hlaing Bo Bo, Myo Ko Tun and Maung Maung Lwin to apply pressure on the away team. A late equaliser from Kyaw Ko Ko in the dying minutes earned a point for Myanmar.

Myanmar and Kyrgyzstan are on four points each in Group A but Myanmar faces a struggle in the coming matches to qualify for the final stage of the Asian Cup.
